The Danish distillery Bryghuset Braunstein has been around for quite some time. For the first few years they were a brewery only, but as we entered the new millennium they started distilling whisky. Braunstein is owned and run by two brothers; Michael and Claus Braunstein. The brothers first toyed with the idea of making and bottling their own whiskies around 1998 during one of several pleasurable fishing trips to Scotland. In 2005 they acquired a harbourside site and brewing equipment to establish Braunstein in Køge in Denmark.
By 2007 they had added their distilling apparatus and began to produce their own spirit, and the following year were also bottling their own single cask. Please join us as long time
Whisky-Connaisseur, Mr.Ulrik Nordin will present a Whisky tasting where he will introduce 6 different types of Braunstein-whiskies. Members 270:-, 320:- non-members.
