Saturday 14th May, at 10.15 a.m. Wenngarn Slott, Sigtuna.

We will meet at Valhallavägen 157, (T-Station Karlaplan-exit Tessinparken), where a chartered bus leaves at 10.15 a.m. Wenngarn Castle is a magical place with about 800 years of history.
It is located midway between Stockholm and Uppsala. Through the centuries, the Vasa dynasty, statesmen, knights and councillors lived and ruled at Wenngarn. Best known is the castle perhaps for Magnus Gabriel de la Gardie and Maria Eurofesyne, who in the 1660’s transformed Wenngarn into a magnificent facility where the park and the views were at the centre. The beautiful chapel in the castle is considered one of Europe's best preserved chapels from this time. Please join us for a full day tour and talk by guides at Wenngarn, where we will also have lunch and enjoy afternoon tea, before we head back to Stockholm at 4 p.m.

The cost of the excursion is 600:- for members, 650:- for non-members (plusgiro 3424-9)
and includes chartered bus, guided tour, lunch, drinks and afternoon tea. Early bookings are recommended and should be made not later than 14th April to 08-678 73 33 or by e-mail This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it A warm welcome !
